Nikesh Dattani is a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon at the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester. He has trained in London, Leicester and the West Midlands before completing a post-CCT fellowship at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle focused on complex endovascular and aortic work.
He enjoys using innovative and minimally invasive techniques in his clinical practice. He is the undergraduate and postgraduate lead for vascular education in Leicester and regularly teaches on national courses including ATLS, BSS, VaLSA and ASPIRE. He has been local principal investigator for a number of multicentre trials and maintains a research profile through his involvement with the Vascular & Endovascular Research Network (VERN) which he co-founded in 2013.
