Chris Lowe is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in Manchester, UK . He graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2008, and completed his surgical training in the North-West of England. This included the award of post-graduate research degree (MD) from the University of Manchester in 2016. He was appointed as consultant in Manchester in 2021.
Since his appointment, he has acted as an audit and governance lead, as well as a clinical lead within the Greater Manchester and East Cheshire Vascular network. He has specific interest in post-graduate surgical training and served a three-year period as the educational lead for the vascular surgery speciality training committee in the North-West. He is on the question writing panel for the FRCS vascular surgery examinations.
His main clinical interest is complex endovascular aortic intervention and he part of the complex aortic team at Manchester Royal infirmary.
