Miss Rachel Bell

Rachel Bell

Rachel Bell qualified from Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital in 1994 and trained on the London South East Thames rotation. She was awarded an MS in 2005 for research into paraplegia and reperfusion injury following open and endovascular thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair.

Rachel was appointed to a Consultant post at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital in 2005 and is currently the Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery. She is actively involved in the merger of the vascular units of  Guy’s & St. Thomas’ and Kings College Hospital, under the auspices of the Kings Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. Miss Bell has a particular interest in the open and endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms.

Endovascular Fellowships

BSET has facilitated a number of endovascular fellowships over the past 8 years. The posts provide an opportunity for vascular or interventional radiology trainees to acquire new or more complex endovascular skills, to be spent in vascular units within the UK.
